Katherine See is the Founder and Managing Director of SeeSalt Corporate Services Pte Ltd (“SeeSalt”), established in 2021. She is a tax advisor and corporate secretarial professional with over 20 years of experience in statutory compliance, corporate governance, and tax advisory for SMEs and group structures in Singapore. She provides end-to-end corporate secretarial support and tax advisory, with particular expertise in corporate structuring, GST, and regulatory compliance.

She provides end-to-end corporate secretarial support, working closely with directors, shareholders, and management on corporate governance, board and shareholder matters, and corporate structuring, and advises clients on corporate income tax, Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) compliance, and advising on tax-efficient corporate structures for businesses operating or investing in Singapore. Her work is underpinned by a strong understanding of legal, tax, and financial implications, enabling her to deliver practical and commercially sound advice to clients.

Katherine began her career with an international audit firm before joining Asia Pacific Business Consultants Pte Ltd (“APB”) and subsequently co-founding Global Business Management Services Pte Ltd (“GBMS”), where she led corporate secretarial and tax advisory services for local and regional clients across multiple industries. Following the acquisition of APB, GBMS, and APB Shanghai in 2017, she was appointed Group Head of Compliance in the acquirer entity for two years before she took a break from the industry, overseeing statutory compliance and governance across Singapore and China entities. After a brief break from the industry in 2019, she returned in 2022 to acquire and manage a well-established professional firm with over 50 years of history, where she currently serves as Managing Director.

With a strong foundation in audit, tax, and corporate secretarial practice, Katherine brings a practical, governance-focused approach to advising business owners on compliance, risk management, and sustainable corporate structures, as well as supporting clients with corporate income tax, financial, and business advisory matters.

Through her combined experiences in audit, corporate secretarial practice, tax and financial advisory work, including regional and cross-border transactions, corporate restructuring, business strategy planning, tax optimization and merger and acquisitions. Katherine maximizes her potential into valuable advice to business owners and brings a governance-focused, pragmatic approach to supporting business owners and companies at every stage of their growth.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Accounting and Finance from the University of London. She is an Accredited Tax Practitioner (Income Tax & GST) of the Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals (SCTP), a Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA), a Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) from the United States of America.
